A close-up of the characters. I modelled them all out of plastic chocolate, which is far yummier than fondant but equally more expensive. Non that I should have cared, since no one ever wants to eat the toppers...  *sigh*

Shoggy's eyes are actually white sugar pearls, whith the pupils dotted in with a food marker. Yogzotot's bigger "bubbles" are chocolate dragees rolled in pearl dust, whereas the smaller ones are fondant, held into place by means of raw spaghetti bits. Keeping Zatoth securely up there was the hardest thing...
